Halden Hospitality · 2025
One identity flexible enough for nine very different hotels
A parent-brand identity that gives nine independent properties a shared standard of quality without flattening what makes each one worth visiting.

Where it started
Halden had bought nine hotels in six years. Guests trusted the individual properties and had never heard of the group, so loyalty could not travel between them and the group could not negotiate as one buyer.
What we did about it
- 1
Brand the standard, not the buildings
The parent identity carries the promise that transfers between properties, which is service standard, booking experience and loyalty. Each hotel keeps its own name, palette and photographic voice.
- 2
Define the shared surfaces precisely
We drew a hard line around what the group owns. Booking flow, confirmation email, key card, welcome compendium and app are group-standard. Everything a guest experiences in the building stays local.
- 3
Write the rules for the next acquisition
The system anticipates properties Halden has not bought yet, with an onboarding kit that gets a new hotel onto group standards in six weeks instead of the nine months the first one took.
What changed
Loyalty membership now spans the estate, and the shift from aggregator to direct booking recovered commission worth more than the project inside a year.
